Morning Report

26 degree celcius. LOL! It's getting colder here. XD
I just hope that i will not get sick from stuffing too much chocolates into my body. =.="

Anyway, i am sure to apply to Case Western Reserve University. It does sound a bit like a nerd school to me, but i think i can handle that. :P But this also means i have to meet Common App again. Argh... It's quite a hassle to fill out all those forms. >.<

Going out for lunch later with my family, how fun. :)

Coldness | Boredom | Laziness

It's 27 degree celcius now at my house, Sungai Petani, Kedah. The weather is dull. It's been raining for the whole day. >.<

I still have to get used to coldness. If i go to Ohio or Indiana or Iowa, i think i will freeze to death. =.=" (Praying hard that i will get USC, which is situated at Los Angeles XD)

I am still indolent to settle my application. Besides that, i am now leaning towards applying to one more university. I am still doing research on that university, but if i can get sufficient documents for it, i will apply.

Nothing much to talk about these days. Facebook, The Nanny and tv programs dominated my days. I started reading a book though. :P

Achieve

I achieved what i had aimed early Fall. When i came to know it, i was at cloud nine, and the feeling was indescribable.

My hard work pays off. :)

I haven't had any posts for November. LOL! Let me make one for the sake of having one. =.="

Eventful and full of lessons. That's how i can describe things that happened for the past 2 weeks. The trip was fun. A bunch of people departed from Shah Alam and toured major cities of the northern states. Thanks everyone for making it such a memorable one. :)

And i just watched 2012. Well, the movie was typical; i like it, however. I just like movies with "end-of-the-world" theme. (Don't get me wrong. I don't want to die like that. XD) I will not post my review on the movie for now. Most of the people haven't got to watch it, particularly one person. :P

Lazy to type more. I shall start with my application now. I only managed to fill some columns of the 3 applications. Transfer app is way more intricate than freshmen one.

1st

My first holiday-day in SP. LOL! I woke up at 9am, which could be considered late during school days. :P

I didn't do much for the day. I watched "The Nanny" (I love that show), went to the second and the newly-built Tesco with my family (How many hypermarkets more in SP? SP is not that big.), and went out for dinner. That's all, but i the feeling was really good. At least i did not feel restrained, which i usually felt during the semester.

Now typing the list of participants of LA week. Oh ya, if anyone who happens to be ATU 16 students reads this, do give me your full name if you participated in any competitions during the Language Awareness Week. I need it. Thanks a lot.

By the way, i am going back to my alma mater tomorrow to get my dossier done. I think i will get hammered by the OSSP secretary when i hand in my dossier next Tuesday. Nvm. At least i manage to hand in before December, which i did last time. And i am applying to only 3 universities. No point applying to more than 3, since i am already sure which i want to enter. The 3 are Purdue, Iowa State and University of Southern California. I will just concentrate on the application starting next week.

I think that's all for my ordinary, insignificant day. Well, who cares about my life? XD

Post Fall'09

Finally, i have completed Fall semester 2009 - an eventful, exhausting and hectic semester. Although i finished my last paper yesterday, i can't feel the excitement of the 2-month holiday. Maybe i am suffering from the side effects of the daily routine of this sem.

Unbelievable. I still can't believe i have come to the 2 months long winter holiday. And more amazingly, i have survived this semester. I entered this semester with a really high expectation. And of course, there's a price to pay for everything you yearn in this world. I was really tired because of this. But who to blame? Myself of course. Nonetheless, i feel that i have failed to achieve the objective.

Of course, INPRO was another great thing. I participated in the closing ceremony dance again. (brought back memories of last year's Borneo Dance. :D) This time, the dance was choreographed by none other than our dancing queen, Miss Kher Lee. Of course, Thanges helped a lot in the process. Dancing MJ's "Beat It" was awesome. Besides having fun, i also met a lot of juniors, whom turn out to be as crazy and wild as we are. Frankly speaking, meeting the ATU 16 students is great. They are people with multifarious of personalities and characteristics.

Oh yeah, ADFP/ACTP achieved hat trick this year. We managed to retain our champion of INPRO title. :D

What else? Oh ya. LA Week, one of the biggest projects of the year. I, as an IE member, helped the INTEC Academic Office to organize the event. I really learnt a lot from working with Mr. K. As everyone knows, he is one of the most demanding lecturers around here. He has high standard and expectation for what he does. Therefore, trying to meet his requirements is a really tough job. XD Anyway, the week was a success. All the competitions were well-received, and the finale night was amazing. Overall, the night was labeled "short and sweet". I would really like to thank my IE counterparts for assisting in making the event a successful one.

I also participated in the ATUSA Charity trip to an orphanage in Semenyih. After going there, i realize how lucky i am now. Seriously, i want to go there again. Talking to them and looking them progressing are really meaningful. I want to see how they have changed and recovered from their past.

This semester was fun, albeit not as eventful as last Fall. Many events were canceled, i suppose. Nevertheless, it's still a great one.

I am looking forward to next sem. Spring 2010 will be an active one i think. American Indulgence Week, Speech Night and other activities are in the planning process.

And i am going back to SP tomorrow. :)

Pre - Final

I am going to sit for the 2nd test of chemistry. Well, well, well, isn't life sucky if you have 6 tests waiting for you; and they come at the time when you are already near the breaking point of the semester? T.T

By the way, holiday is coming, and application is looming. At least some universities do not want essays. XD

What should i do for the next 2 months? Recuperating is a must; but there must be a way to rejuvenate myself. (What the hell, why's with the SAT words? =.=") I am going to some places, but the most important one, i can spend my time with my family. :)

And these days are scary, the only thing i can see around me is people studying an studying. Atmosphere is getting tensed here.

Nvm. I should go back to hug entropy now. To certain extent, i feel like going to faint soon.

(Oh ya, today's the last day of school of Fall'09. I shall talk more about this semester after the finals.)
